Flood Mitigation

As a follow-up to Hurricane Ian and Hurricane Nicole, the City of Flagler Beach is working on initiating a coastal hazard mitigation program to address flooding concerns. Below is a letter that the City will send to residents that have already expressed interest in home elevation or buyout opportunities.  Additionally, below the letter is the attachment that is referenced in the letter.  We will also be gathering contact information for other residents that may be interested in the hazard mitigation program.

Residents are encouraged to contact Lee Richards, Program Coordinator for Engineering Services, at Lrichards@cityofflaglerbeach.com or 386-517-2000 ext. 248, directly for more details.
