Economic Development Task Force
The Economic Development Task
Force advises the City Commission regarding means by which to
address the elements of the City's Vision Statement from an economic
improvement standpoint.
The task force shall consist of nine voting members and four
ex-officio members:

The primary objective of the City's Investment Committee
is the protection of city funds. The committee will advise the city
on investment strategies in order to provide sufficient liquidity to meet
the city's operating payroll, capital and statutory disbursement
requirements. The committee will also seek to control risks and
diversify investments regarding specific security types, maturities and
financial institutions.
The Investment Committee consists of the mayor, a
commissioner, an attorney, an Investment Broker/Counselor and a banker.
The city manager and finance director will both serve as ex-officio
members.

The Volusia
County Metropolitan Planning Organization has a vacancy for a
citizen representative from Flagler to serve on their the
Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee for the City of Flagler Beach.
